SUMMARY:NAMPO - South Africa
DESCRIPTION:Grain SA’s NAMPO Harvest Day is one of the largest agricultural exhibitions under private ownership in the southern hemisphere and it takes place annually\, just outside of the town of Bothaville\, in the Free State province of South Africa. The first NAMPO Harvest Day was held in 1967\, on the farm\, Donkerhoek\, near Bloemfontein and was attended by 200 producers. Thereafter the Harvest Day was held on various farms until the size of the event started necessitating a more permanent venue. In 1974 the NAMPO Harvest Day was therefore established on a permanent terrain outside Bothaville\, which is today known as NAMPO Park.

SUMMARY:The Logger's Expo
DESCRIPTION:The Loggers’ Expo is presented by the Northeastern Loggers’ Association and is co-sponsored by the association and the monthly magazine –The Northern Logger and Timber Processor.  Staff and the Expo is overseen by our Board of Directors\, a group of industry volunteers from around the Northeastern region.  The Expo is managed by Joe Phaneuf and Kristin Armendola. \nThe Loggers’ Expo location rotates between Bangor\, Maine and Essex Junction\, VT. The show typically features 175-250 exhibiting companies and attracts a range of 5\,000 to 7\,000 attendees – comprised mainly of active industry decision-makers. The Expo has become the place where serious business is accomplished between buyers and sellers of forest industry equipment\, supplies and services. It features a mix of live demonstrations and static displays – with both inside and outside displays. \nThe 2025 Expo is coming to the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor\, Maine and we’ll return to the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction\, Vermont on May 1-2\, 2026. \nEmail expo@northernlogger.com or call (315) 369-3078 to get on the distribution list for exhibiting information for future shows.
